" Jen was very calm and quiet, did not push an agenda, but suggested different ways to accelerate labor, showed different techniques for pain management.  Did great hip massage!  This saved my life!  She helped us follow our birth plan; an almost unmedicated birth with no medical interventions.  She got along very well with doctors and nurses, was not intervening.  Also when doctors suggested that I might be induced at 38 weeks Jen provided very useful information about success rate of inductions and Bishop's Score.  She has a large lending library as well.  Great books about natural labor at hospital and birth partner's role.  She kept in touch after the birth with info about breastfeeding, as well as recommended lactation specialist and herbs for increasing milk production.  We were very happy she helped us through the birth process."
