As your birth doula I provide you and your partner with informational, emotional, and physical support throughout your pregnancy and birth. My goal is to help you create a positive birth experience which leaves you feeling powerful as a woman and as a mother.

Birth doula services include:

2-4 prenatal meetings to talk about your priorities for this birth, discuss and practice comfort measures and coping strategies etc. I am happy to meet as often as once per month. The better we know each other, the more comfortable you will feel.

Email, phone and text support as an impartial, knowledgeable guide.

Access to my extensive lending library.

Being on-call for you from two weeks prior to your due date to the time you birth your baby.

Continuous and compassionate physical and emotional support for you and your partner during your labour. I am also happy to take pictures/video if you desire.

1-2 hours of postpartum care immediately following baby's birth. I can assist with breastfeeding if required and generally ensure you are comfortable before leaving you to love on your babe.

A postpartum visit, 2-3 weeks after babe's birth to chat about your birth experience, for me to get baby snuggles, and find resources/referrals if they are needed.

My birth doula fee is $1000.00.  $100 from each client fee goes directly to Awo Taan Healing Lodge. Awo Taan is a Calgary shelter for women fleeing domestic violence and all forms of abuse. They provide shelter and community services, guided by Aboriginal traditional teachings, to anyone affected by family violence and abuse.
